Fashion Show was a fantastic success! Thank you for coming out in large
fashion"! Guests were approximately 260 ladies and gentlemen, including many
in red hats with purple trim? Special thank you to all groups and clubs who
came out in full support this year!
Our GACC
President, George Schemmel, Jr. was on hand to introduce Edith Kuplent and
the committee for this year including: Louise Bush, Helen Gassel, Elisabeth
Herster, Susanne Huber, Edith Kuplent, Hilda Langegger, Ingrid H. Stein and
Theresia Walter. Thank you ladies for a fabulous job!
One very special
treat this year was display vendors including; C.L. Schneider, Tapestries of
Exotic Gemstones, Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby Independent Senior Living.
Margot European Day Spa & Mary Kay Cosmetics designed make-up on the models
prior to the fashion show, which we really appreciated. Fashions provided by
Lord & Taylor.
Let us not forget
our fantastic modeling staff this year. All models were introduce by Dr.
Sabine Kollment-Scharl. Male models; Jack Bardon, Joseph Gassel, Joseph
Groele, Darin Lenhardt and Frank Sinz. Ladies modeling, Wendy Binder, Amanda
Delveke, Christina Griesser, Erna Hirmann, Susanne Huber, Adele Reinke,
Erika Wagner, Theresia Walter and Karin Warrinner.
Special thank you
to all who donated wonderful raffle gifts! The raffle was a great success!
A hot lunch was
served buffet style, and as always, thanks to the Carpathia Kitchen for
delicious and copious hot food!
The proceeds from
this show help support the Wayne State Junior Year in Munich program.
