sauerkraut, pretzels, landjäger and desserts. The warm weather did however
reduce the hot coffee consumption.
welcome ceremony included the seven societies that make up the GAF (German
American Festival) Association; it was followed by German ethnic dancing
from the Bavarian Schuhplattlers. A good time was had by all with the
festivities ending at 8 PM. The Schwabenverein will hold its annual
Kirchweih festival on Sunday, November 6 at the Oak Shade Hall to which
